Purdue: Made an impression as a true freshman in 2002-03, when he averaged 4.1 points and 1.9 rebounds ... Led the team in three point percentage, hitting 42.6% of his shots from behind the arc ... Scored a career-high 20 points (later matched) in NCAA first round game with LSU ... Also had double digits against Montana and Northwestern as a freshman ... Had four double digit scoring efforts as a sophomore in 2003-04, when he averaged 5.4 points and 2.5 rebounds in 17.8 minutes per game (up from 11.1 minutes as a freshman) ... Matched career-high with 20 points when he hit five-of-nine three point attempts against Chicago State ... Had a 14-point game against Seton Hall.

High School: Played his final two seasons at Thornwood High in Chicago, where he was a teammate of NBA player Eddie Currie ... Averaged 13.9 points, five rebounds, three assists, two blocks and two steals as a senior ... Named all-state, all-area and all-conference that season and went on to compete in the ABCD Camp ... Third team all-state as well as all-area and all-conference in his junior season ... Coached by Kevin Hayhurst ... Played his first two high school seasons at Marion  Catholic ...
