Biography

Returned for in January after playing on the circuit for senior season... The Bulls’ lone senior USF led the Bulls to their first BIG EAST title... Hamed finishes his career with a dual record of 36-2 and an overall record of 48-28... Hamed was stellar in the BIG EAST tournament compiling a 5-2 in three years in the tournament... Began the fall of 2008 ranked No. 73 in the ITA singles position... Tied for the team lead in dual match wins going 14-8 and 16-8 overall... Played mostly the No. 3 singles but went 4-2 in the No. 2 slot... Rattled off seven straight victories from Feb 26 to Mar. 18... USF was 2-6 when Hamed lost his singles match...  Teamed up with Jamal Adderley mid season to form a solid doubles tandem and in doing so solidified the No. 2 double, going 7-3... Adderley and Hamed clinched the doubles point against DePaul in the BIG EAST Championship match giving USF an early 1-0 lead... Tallied lone victories in Bulls’ losses versus No. 19 Louisville, No. 26 Auburn and at No. 34 LSU...

2007-08: Battled through injuries and put together a 15-15 overall record, while ... Recorded huge win over Louisville’s David Lee to clinch USF’s berth in BIG EAST Finals... Split time between the No. 1 and No. 2 positions... Went 7-4 in No. 2 slot...Eight of his losses came against ranked opponents... Teamed with Jamal Adderley, Lucas Jovita and Michael Nusslein to compile a 9-6 in competition.

2006-07: Held a record of 17-5 with wins over opponents from VCU and University of Florida ... Hamed and partner Thomas Estrada combined to defeat Penn State’s No. 1 pair of Ryan Berger and Michael James, 8-6 ... Named to the BIG EAST men’s all- tournament singles team and held the team-high in wins on the year with 13.
