The highest ranked player ever signed at USF ...  Was ranked the 34th-best player in America as a junior by the All-Star Girls Report and the sixth-best center in America ... An extremely versatile player for her size, Sarosi has a soft jumper from 15-feet in, however she can also bang in the paint down low ... She must, however, continue to get stronger ... Has the potential to be an impact player on the national scene and has unlimited potential ... Will benefit from a tremendous work ethic.

HIGH SCHOOL
Was a four-year varsity letterwinner at Astronaut High School in Titusville, FL ... Was a two-time First Team All-State selection in 2005 and 2006 and a two-time First Team All-Space Coast selection in 2004 and 2006 ...  Also earned Third Team All-State honors in 2004 and was a McDonald's High School All-American nominee in 2005 ... Was tabbed the Space Coast Player of the Year in 2005 ... Helped Astronaut to the Florida 4A state title in 2006 while also being named to the state Final Four All-Tournament Team during her senior year ... Was also a three-time Cape Coast Conference First Team selection 2004, 2005 and 2006 ... Averaged 18 points and nine rebounds per game in her final scholastic year ... Among her many scholastic honors, Sarosi was one of 20 players selected to play in the All-America game at the prestigious adidas All-America Camp prior to her junior year and averaged 18.6 points and 9.2 rebounds per game during that season of high school ball.

Full name is Stephanie Ann Sarosi ... Was born on Sept. 13, 1987 in Titusville, FL  ... Is the daughter of Wayne and Desiree Sarosi ... Has one brother, Derrick (24), who played his collegiate football for the Bulls from 2001-04 ... Plans to major in pre-optometry at USF ... Enjoys drawing, hanging out with friends and reading in her spare time ... Was on the honor roll for four years at  Astronaut ...   Spends her summers as a youth basketball camp coach ... Has been heavily involved in the Fellowship of Christian Athletes.
