Is one of three junior college players - and one of two, along with Janae Stokes, that played at Gulf Coast Community College - that join the Bulls this season ... Is extremely solid offensively, has good balance and can create off the dribble ... She's really strong and is an extremely tough defender ... Signed with the Bulls in May of 2008 ... Was ranked the eighth best junior college (JUCO) player and No. 2 among all JUCO guards in America by the Collegiate Girls Basketball Report. 

Junior College
Averaged 12.2 points and 2.6 assists which was good enough for third and first on the Commodores’ roster respectively last year ... Also grabbed 4.2 rebounds per game ... For her efforts during the 2007-08 campaign, she was tabbed a first team All-Panhandle Conference selection ... As a freshman, Givands averaged 5.9 points per game and grabbed 3.2 rebounds per contest and was a Region VIII All-Tournament team ... Helped GCCC to tremendous success during her two seasons as the Commodores posted an impressive 63-5 record during that stretch ... This past season the Commodores recorded a 36-1 record, and a 14-1 slate in the Panhandle Conference, en route to the National Junior College Athletic Association national championship.

Was a four-year letterwinner at Kirby High School... Was tabbed team captain and Best Defensive Player for the 2005-06 season.
