Yuengling Center Protocols Graphic

USF Athletics has prepared its plan for a physically distant game day experience in partnership with the Vinik Sports Group and the Yuengling Center for the 2020-21 Men's and Women's Basketball seasons. The health and safety of everyone entering the Yuengling Center is our department's highest priority. Below are the measures we have taken to best ensure we keep our Horns Up safely at our games this season.

KNOW BEFORE YOU GO

USF will begin allowing fan attendance in the Yuengling Center when the Bulls men's and women's team begin conference play. Athletics and the University will continue to review fan attendance policies for the remainder of the 2020-2021 basketball season and consult with the appropriate state, local and university officials to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for fans.

In order to best ensure safety and convenience for fans entering the Yuengling Center, we will continue our transition to all mobile ticketing that began in the fall with football. To make this process as easy as possible for Bulls fans, we recently launched the new South Florida Bulls app. This new app provides not only a fully digital and easy solution to Bulls fans' ticket needs, but will integrate several other elements to elevate fans' experience both in-venue and out, including game day information, venue guides, schedules, rosters, statistics and more!

Fans can click the button below now to downloand the South Florida Bulls app today!!

Parking for USF Men's Basketball will be $10, collected as fans enter the lots. This year, parking will be purchased by credit card only and gate attendants will not accept cash in order to limit exposure both fans and attendants exposure to COVID-19.

Parking for Women's Basketball will be continue to be free.

Yuengling Center and USF Athletics have installed numerous safety and physical distancing measure to help ensure fans enjoy their gameday experience. Fans will notice many newly installed hand sanitizer stations and markers to encourage physical distancing.

Face masks will be required for fans and arena workers at all times when inside the arena. The only exception to the facemask policy will be when fans are eating and drinking in their seats.

The Yuengling Center will require fans wishing to bring a bag in to the arena to use clear bags not larger than 12"x12"x12".

In partnership with Vinik Sports Group and the Yuengling Center, USF Athletics has established a physically-distanced environment for our fans to enjoy games this season. While this means there will be changes in arena capacity and seating locations, it is our goal to provide fans the best possible options to see the Bulls play. Seating capacity for games at the Yuengling Center has been reduced to best accommodate all necessary local and state safety recommendations. There have also been changes to how fans enter and exit into the stadium and to arena concourses and concessions areas to maintain proper social distancing.

In light of the changes to our basketball schedules, we have shifted solely to single-game ticketing for the 2020-21 season. All 2020-21 Season Ticket Members for Men's and Women's Basketball have received options on how to proceed with their initital ticket purchase. As a benefit for their support this season, Season Ticket Members will receive first priority in purchasing discounted single-game tickets to any of our home games this season in which fan attendance is permitted. Season Ticket Members will also be able to purchase tickets in appointment blocks according to their USF Bulls Club donor level and priority points. Following the pre-sale, the remaining seats will be made available to the public for all games via Ticketmaster.com.

Seats are structured in groups of predominantly 2 and 4 seats, with distancing measures implemented around them. We consider these groups of seating to be "seating pods," and they must be purchased together. For example, fans will not be able to purchase two seats in a four-seat pod, but would instead purchase a pair of seats in a 2-seat pod to protect the pod integrity throughout the arena.

This year, we will have at least six dates in which men's and women's teams will play on the same date in doubleheader action at the Yuengling Center. In order to keep fans safe, one ticket will be sold for both games on the doubleheader dates. The ticket you purchase for the doubleheader will allow you to remain in the same seat for both games. The sheduled doubleheaders this season are set for: Jan. 2, 6, 27 and 30 & Feb. 13 and 20.

To meet the standards necessary for a safe environment in the Yuengling Center this year, the Meyer Family Hardwood Club, Fifth Third Bank Club and Coke Student Lounge will not be accessible for gathering this season. As a result, there will not be any amenities provided in these areas.

We have placed safety measures in the The Herd as well, and we plan to be able to accommodate a limited number of students in the Yuengling Center. To maintain physical distancing, we ask that students follow the same protocol as all fans and students will be seated in reserved sections for the 2020-21 basketball season.

For the games during winter break, students are encouraged to visit Gate D on game day to receive your mobile ticket. After winter break, students should stay tuned through the weekly Herd Alert email for details on how to claim your student ticket online.
