2024: Earned All-Conference Third Team from the AAC coaches and Phil Steele...a Burlsworth Trophy semifinalist for the second straight year...selected to compete in the College Gridiron Classic...led the Bulls in receiving for the second-straight year, posting a three 100-yard receiving games as he collected 79 receptions for 781 yards and two touchdowns... his 79 receptions are the second-most in a season for USF, behind only his 92 catches in 2023...set the career receptions record for the Bulls with 200 and the all-time career receiving yards record with 2,167, breaking Andre Davis’s program record of 2,136....his 17 career receptions in bowl games are also a USF bowl record...tied the USF record making at least one catch in 31 consecutive games, the last coming in his last game in the 2024 Hawai‘i Bowl...capped his sixth season at USF with his sixth career 100-yard game in the Hawai’i Bowl, leading USF with a career-best 11 catches (a USF bowl record and second overall in a game at USF) for 104 yards...caught four passes for a total of 42 yards in the season opener vs. B-CU (8/31), continuing his string of 14 straight games with at least 4 catches and 40 yards receiving…hauled in four passes for 35 yards against Alabama (9/7)…caught five passes for 87 yards, including a 35-yard long run at Southern Miss (9/14)…hauled in 11 passes for 125 yards, including a 28-yard long reception, and threw a touchdown against Miami (9/21)...recorded five catches for 35 yards against Memphis (10/8)...hauled in six passes for 57 yards and a touchdown at FAU (11/1)…caught seven passes for 70 yards against Navy (11/9)…ran the ball one time for 14 yards and caught six passes for 32 yards at Charlotte (11/16)...received seven passes for 68 yards against Tulsa (11/23)...recorded his second 100-yard game of the season with seven catches for 110 yards and a touchdown at Rice (11/30).

2023: Second Team All-AAC by both conference coaches and Phil Steele...named one of 10 Semifinalists for the Burlsworth Trophy...set USF season records for receiving yards (1,054) and receptions (92), becoming the program’s first 1,000-yard receiver...his previous career totals in four seasons at USF before 2023 were 332 yards and 29 catches...caught at least four passes for 42 yards in every game on the season, including seven straight games with at least seven receptions and two games with over 100 yards...started all 13 games...had six catches for 93 yards and two touchdowns against Syracuse in the Boca Raton Bowl, equaling a USF bowl receiving touchdowns record and giving him seven scores for the season, which ranks tied for second on the USF season chart...finished the season four-for-four passing for 149 yards a touchdown (62 yards) and a 495.4 pass efficiency rating for the year, and also completed a two-point conversion pass to Byrum Brown...added 52 yards rushing on six carries...at WKU (9/2) in the season-opener, caught five passes for 43 yards...vs. FAMU (9/9) in the home opener, led the Bulls with five receptions for 57 yards, while recording his first career pass attempt and completion on a 39-yard pass...vs. Alabama (9/16), registered six receptions for 42 yards...vs. Rice (9/23), completed another pass on a two-point conversion to Byrum Brown (two-point attempts are unofficial pass attempts), and hauled in eight receptions for 91 yards and his first receiving touchdown of season...at Navy (9/30), caught four passes for 116 yards and two touchdowns, one of which was a career-long 88-yard touchdown and the fourth-longest play in USF history...at UAB (10/7), tallied eight catches for 91 yards...vs. FAU (10/14), threw second official pass of season complete for 27 yards and hauled in seven receptions for 71 yards...at UCONN (10/21), recorded eight catches for 57 yards in comeback win...at Memphis (11/4), caught nine passes for 89 yards and one touchdown, while also receiving multiple hand offs for the first time in his career, both going for career-longs of 14, then 20 yards, (previous was 6 yards at UAB on 10/7)...vs. Temple (11/11), posted nine receptions for a career-best 169 yards, his reception total moving him past the eight-year program record for single-season receptions of 67, set by Rodney Adams (2016)...at UTSA (11/17), Atkins set the USF single-season record for receiving yards, passing the 879 yards by Marquez Valdez-Scantling (2017), with 10 catches for 92 yards in the game...vs. Charlotte (11/25) in the regular season finale, Atkins posted seven or more receptions for a USF record seventh-straight game, with seven receptions for 61 yards and a touchdown on the day....Atkins became just the second USF player, and first since 1998, to pass for and catch a touchdown in the same game, he did so with a 10-yard touchdown reception from Byrum Brown in the first quarter and a 62-yard touchdown pass to Kelley Joiner in the second quarter, which was good for the longest non-quarterback touchdown pass in program history and just the ninth by a non-quarterback USF player ever...the touchdown was Atkins’ first passing in his career, a career-long pass, and his third completion in as many attempts.

2022: Saw action in 11 games and made two starts (at Tulsa and vs. UCF)...finished the season third on the team in receptions, catching 19 passes for 238 yards and second in touchdown receptions with three...ran the ball twice on the year for nine yards... at Tulsa (11/18), posted his first career 100-yard game with nine catches for 115 yards and a touchdown...vs. UCF (11/26), caught a two-yard touchdown pass...vs. SMU (11/12), made four catches for 55 yards...at Louisville (9/24), had two catches for 35 yards...vs. ECU (10/1), had a four-yard touchdown catch...vs. UCF (11/26), returned eight punts for 64 yards with a 33-yard long.

2021: Saw action in all 12 games, including three starts at slot receiver...caught seven passes for 72 yards...vs. Florida (9/11), caught two passes for 34 yards...vs. Cincinnati (11/12), caught two passes for 15 yards.

2020: Saw action in six of nine games...played extensively on special teams but also saw snaps at slot receiver on offense...in the season-opening win over The Citadel (9/12), caught one pass for four yards...at Houston (11/14), caught two passes for 22 yards.

2019: Walked on to USF and saw action in two games, vs. Wisconsin (8/30) and South Carolina State (9/14)...vs. Wisconsin (8/30), caught first career pass for one yard...redshirt season.

VIERA HS: Four-year letter winner in football and three-year letter winner in basketball at Viera High School...Viera High School’s all-time leader in receiving yards and touchdowns...had 139 career receptions for a school record 2,255 yards, surpassing the old record of Tre Nixon...scored on a 62-yard fake punt, giving him 41 career touchdowns and setting another school record...caught 25 touchdown passes.

PERSONAL: son of Dennis and Jenny Atkins…grandfather, Jack Martin, played football at the University of Kentucky…born August 9, 2001 in Melbourne, Fla...promoted to full scholarship status in front of whole team during Fall of 2021...earned his degree in marketing fall of 2022...named to the Athletics Honor Roll in the Spring of 2020, 2021, and 2024, as well as in the Fall of 2023...earned AAC All-Academic honors in 2020 and 2021.
