Alemão Galletti joined the South Florida Beach Volleyball program as an Assistant Coach in July 2025.
 
Gallett brings over twenty years of professional volleyball experience as both a coach and professional athlete,
 
Most recently, Galletti was an assistant coach at FIU (2018-19), where he focused on developing game strategies and specialized training plans.
 
From 2013 to 2016, Galletti served as the head coach of the Turkish National Team, taking the men’s team from a No. 100 world ranking in 2013 to a consistent member of the Top 25 in the Fédération Internationale de Volleyball (FIVB) world rankings.

From 2011 to 2012, Galletti served as the supervisor for the Brazilian Women’s National Team, overseeing the operation and preparations for the team as it participated in the 2012 London Olympics, a team that included the Olympic Bronze Medal pair of Juliana Silva and Larissa Franca.

Galletti also served as head coach of the Australian Women’s National Team from 2006-09, where the pair of Natalie Cook and Tamsin Barnett won the Gold Medal at the Seoul FIVB World Tour in 2007 and finished fifth at the 2018 Beijing Olympics; and was the head coach of the Greece National Team from 2000-04, coaching the pair of Vasso Karadassiou and Efi Sfiry to a 2001 European Championship.
