Mike Lube

Mike Lube

A former USF offensive lineman, Mike Lube was promoted prior to the 2007 season to the role of Program Coordinator for the Offense.

His role with the offensive staff varies on a daily basis but mainly includes the breakdown and organization of film, and is involved with both scout teams.  He also assists the offensive staff during practice, generally focusing on the offensive line.

As a program assistant he charted practice and games and worked with the scout team, especially the offensive line.  He also worked as a strength and conditioning intern at USF from January to May in 2005. In the spring of 2004, he coached the Palm Harbor University High offensive and defensive lines.

Started as a walk-on to the USF team in 2002.  He would play offensive tackle in three games and was a key contributor before a knee injury cut his career short.

Lube earned a communications degree from USF in December 2006 and is now pursuing a master’s in adult education at USF.
