Saki Mihalakos

A former defensive back for the USF Bulls from 2010-2011, Saki Mihalakos joined the USF coaching staff in 2012 as football analyst for the defense. He joined head coach Charlie Strong's staff as a quality control analyst for the defense in January of 2017. 

A contributor on special teams and role player on defense during his time as a player, Mihalakos got an early start on his coaching career as an undergrad when he suffered a serious back injury three games into his senior season. Unable to play the rest of the year, he spent the remainder of the season with the program coaching the scout team and assisting his position coach, Rick Smith, as well as Defensive Coordinator Mark Snyder for the 2011 season.

Mihalakos earned a degree in Health Science at USF and continued with football program as the Defensive QC/intern for 2012 season under them Bulls head coach Skip Holtz and Defensive Coordinator Chris Cosh.
