CAREER SUMMARY: A stalwart on Bulls' offensive lines in five seasons and seeing starts in six, Jennings, a Tampa native, set a USF record appearing in 55 career games and made 45 career starts, tied for seventh-most. He earned second-team all-conference selection in 2021 when he started all 12 games at left tackle and helped the Bulls to a program record 421 rushing yards vs. Temple. He helped block for Jordan Cronkrite’s 1,000-yard rushing season in 2018 and team total of 2,517 yards on the ground that season. Injury shortened his 2022 season to four games, but he returned in 2023, his sixth year, to help lead the biggest turn-around in program history as USF went from 1-11 to 7-6 and returned to a bowl game for the first time in five years, culminating in a 45-0 defeat of Syracuse in the Boca Raton Bowl. Protecting quarterback Byrum Brown’s left side, he helped the first-year starter set USF season records for passing yards (3,292), passing touchdowns (26) and completion percentage (64.6%) while running for a team-best 809 yards and leading the Bulls offense to 5,871 yards, the third-best total in program history.
2023: Invited to 2023 East-West Shrine Bowl...recorded his 55th career game played vs. Syracuse in the Bulls 45-0 victory in the Boca Raton Bowl, setting a new program record...started nine games at left tackle, missing three due to injury, to improve his career total to 45 starts (Tied 7th all-time at USF)...helped lead the biggest turn-around in program history as USF went from 1-11 to 7-6 and returned to a bowl game for the first time in five years....protecting quarterback Byrum Brown’s left side, he helped the first-year starter set USF season records for passing yards (3,292), passing touchdowns (26) and completion percentage (64.6%) while running for a team-best 809 yards and leading the Bulls offense to 5,871 yards, the third-best total in program history...the Bulls ran for 2,377 yards on the year, 182.8 yards per game to rank third in The American...USF ranked 17th in FBS posting 451.6 yards per game.
2022: Saw action in four games, making four starts at tackle before an ankle injury at Louisville ended his season…helped lead 1,000-yard rusher Brian Battie to 100-yard games vs. Howard (105) and at Florida (150) before injury ended his season.
2021: Athlon All-Conference Second Team...Appeared in all twelve of the Bulls' games as the starting left tackle...helped the Bulls to a school record single-game rushing record of 421 yards vs. Temple (10/23)....blocked for Jaren Mangham who posted the eighth-highest rushing touchdown total (15) in the NCAA.
2020: Earned Athlon Preseason All-Conference Fourth Team and Phil Steele Preseason All-Conference Fourth Team recognition...started all seven games he played in the Bulls' nine-game season...missed the season-opener and the Cincinnati game due to COVID-19 protocols...started at left tackle vs. UCF (11/27) and helped Kelley Joiner Jr. and Brian Battie both run for 100-yards in the season-finale vs. UCF (11/27) as the Bulls rushed for 242 yards and two touchdowns and posted 646 yards of total offense.Â
2019: Saw action in 10 games and made eight starts at left tackle…helped Jordan Cronkrite finish ninth in The American with 68.7 rushing yards per game…assisted in paving the way for Cronkrite to finish with three 100-yard rushing games and Kelley Joiner Jr. with one 100-yard rushing performance…helped the Bulls gain 1,936 yards rushing and 330 yards per game.
2018: Drew starts in four of the 12 games in which he appeared, including the Gasparilla Bowl, part of a left side of the USF offensive line featuring three freshmen…helped Jordan Cronkrite post the ninth 1,000-yard rushing season in program history and tie the program record with five straight 100-yard rushing games…played a role in USF ranking 33rd nationally in total offense (437.7 ypg) and 43rd in rushing offense (194.0 ypg)…USF posted the fourth-most rushing yards in program season history (2,517) and fifth-most rushing touchdowns (26)...played an instrumental role in creating holes for USF's running back to post a school and conference record 302 yards and three touchdowns against UMass (10/6).
GAITHER HS: Named 2017 third-team Class 7A All-State by FloridaHSFootball.com...helped pave the way for his offense to post nearly 4,000 total yards, including 2,887 rushing yards (7.0 ypc)…also helped his team produce a winning season for the first time in three years and appear in the Class 7A regional quarterfinals in 2017…before his senior season, ranked No. 61 on the Tampa Bay Times’ HomeTeam 100.
PERSONAL: Born on Nov. 24, 1999, in Tampa...son of Carla Ware...has two brothers, Adrian and Isiaian, and two sisters, Riley and Reese...also lettered in basketball...majoring in integrated public relations and advertising...named to the Athletics Honor Roll in fall 2020, spring 2020 and 2021 and fall 2022.... 2019, 2020 and 2021 AAC All-Academic Team selection.
