HEARD COUNTY HS: Coached by Tim Barron… made 32 career starts...earned first team All-State and All-Region honors...named the Area Offensive Lineman of the Year...helped his team make an appearance in the second round of the Georgia Class AA playoffs in 2020… as a senior in 2020, helped pave the way for his team’s offense to average 321.8 yards per game and post 2,400 rushing yards (200 ypg) and nearly 4,000 total yards… preseason All-Class AA offensive lineman in Georgia heading into 2020 season… played on a team that has made the postseason in 16 consecutive seasons … as a sophomore, played on Heard County’s Class AA state championship team… also has played for Heard County’s varsity baseball team, lettering four years.

PERSONAL: Born February, 28, 2003...the son of Keith and Ginger Cornelius...has an older brother, Jordan...hobbies are playing baseball, fishing...earned the Herschel Leadership Award and highest GPA on the team in high school...Honor Society member...earned USF Athletics Honor Roll recognition in fall of 2022...Committed to the Bulls in August 2020… rated as a three-star recruit by 247Sports and Scout… ranked No. 91 at the offensive guard position on 247Sports’ 2021 recruits composite… No. 110 on the ESPN 300 top offensive tackles list for 2021… also received offers from UCF, Air Force, Army, Austin Peay, Eastern Illinois, Samford, South Alabama and Western Carolina.
