Bailey came to USF after seeing limited action in two seasons at Virginia Tech…a converted defensive lineman, with a COVID year he had our seasons of eligibility remaining when arriving at USF.
2022: Saw action in 10 games and started the last five games of the season at right tackle following an injury to Donovan Jennings...helped plow the way for five straight 100-yard games by Brian Battie in the final five games of the season and led Battie to just the 10th 1,000-yard rushing season in program history.
2021 (VIRGINIA TECH): Entered the transfer portal in November…arrived at Virginia tech as a defensive lineman before moving to the offensive line…saw action vs. North Carolina.
2020 (VIRGINIA TECH): Began as a defensive lineman at Virginia Tech…played in one game vs. Liberty (11/7/20).
GREENBACK HS: Played for head coach Greg Ryan at the Greenback School in Greenback, Tennessee … part of a squad that posted a 12-3 record during his senior campaign and finished as Class 1A state runner-up …ranked second on the team with 11.5 TFL as a senior and also produced 63 tackles (17 solo) … recorded 69 tackles, 9.0 TFL and 7.0 sacks as a junior when he was named Tennessee Region 2-1A defensive player of the year … part of a 2017 that won the Tennessee Class 1A state title and finished with a 13-1 record … a three-time all-state, all-region and all-county selection for the Cherokees … also played basketball at Greenback.
