PRIOR TO USF: Transferred to USF from Gardner-Webb University…threw for 6,162 yards and 50 touchdowns during his career at Gulf Coast High School…selected to the all-county and all-district team as a senior…threw for a career-best 1,822 yards to go along with 16 touchdowns as a sophomore…had 1,641 passing yards, 10 passing touchdowns and six rushing scores during his senior season…also played three years of varsity basketball in high school.
