USF Athletics

A transfer from Florida, Summerall saw action in 28 games over four seasons as a Gator and recorded 15 tackles, three tackles for loss, 1.5 sacks and one fumble recovering while playing special teams and on the defensive line…a four-star prospect with a .9100 rating from 247Sports out of high school…led Lakeland High School to a 7A state championship in 2018…will have two seasons of eligibility at USF.

2023: Recorded his first career sack for USF in the first drive for Rice and posted a career-best of 1.5 tackles for loss vs Rice (9/23). 
 
2022 (FLORIDA): Saw action primarily on special teams in 11 games, totaling six tackles (two solo), 0.5 tackles for loss and one fumble recovery... registered three assisted tackles, tying his career-high, and 0.5 tackles for loss at Florida State (11/25)... notched his first-career fumble recovery in a win at Texas A&M (11/5)... notched one assisted tackle on the defensive line vs. LSU (10/15)... tallied two solo tackles on the defensive line in a win vs. Eastern Washington (10/2)... played on special teams in the win vs. USF (9/17).

2021 (FLORIDA): Played in 12 games... posted five tackles and a half sack…assisted on a tackle in the Gasparilla Bowl vs. UCF (12/23)... had a kick return of 20 yards vs. Samford (11/13)... recorded three assisted tackles and half a sack against Vanderbilt (10/9)... assisted on a tackle in the season opener versus Florida Atlantic (9/4).          

2020 (FLORIDA): Saw game action against Missouri (10/31) and in the Cotton Bowl vs. Oklahoma (12/30). 

2019 (FLORIDA): Saw action in three games (UT Martin, Vanderbilt and Virginia) and redshirted… made his collegiate debut against UT Martin (9/7)… recorded a lone defensive stop against Vanderbilt (11/9) and an assist against UT Martin.

LAKELAND HS: Transferred to Lakeland High School for his senior year after playing his junior season at Auburndale High School...led Lakeland to the FHSAA Class 7A State Championship, where they beat St. Thomas Aquinas, 33-20... finished his high school career with 117 tackles, 14.5 sacks (11.5 in his senior season), four interceptions, and three forced fumbles... played for Coach Bill Castle... also played basketball for Lakeland... had offers from Florida, Alabama, Florida State, Georgia, LSU, Miami, and Ohio State, among others…a four-star recruit with a .9100 rating from 247Sports…projected as a Day 2 (2^nd or 3^rd round) NFL Draft selection by 247’s Luke Stampini.
