Chris Elliott joined the USF staff in August 2025 and serves as the Assistant Director of Athletic Training for the University of South Florida menโs basketball team. He is a certified and licensed athletic trainer who brings NCAA Division I, elite academy, and professional sports experience to the Bulls.
Before joining USF, Elliott worked at Grand Canyon University with menโs basketball and menโs golf, at IMG Academy with post-graduate and varsity boysโ basketball, and at Stephen F. Austin State University as the Head Athletic Trainer for menโs basketball and womenโs bowling. He also completed a preseason internship with the Tennessee Titans.
He is a former two-sport NCAA Division II student-athlete at Trevecca Nazarene University. Elliott holds a bachelorโs degree in exercise science and a masterโs in athletic training. He is certified in Corrective Exercise, Dry Needling, and Graston Technique, and remains an active member of the National Athletic Trainersโ Association.
