NOTABLE:

• Helped lead USF to its first-ever regular season conference championship in 2023-24

• Helped guide the Bulls to a program-best 25 wins in 2023-24

• Helped lead South Florida to its first-ever Top-25 ranking in program history, reaching as high as No. 24 in 2023-24

Trent Patterson is entering his second season as the Director of Basketball Operations during the 2024-25 campaign. At USF, Patterson is in charge of several areas of the program, including budget management, all recruiting and team-related travel, and serving as a liaison between the athletic department and the program. Patterson joined USF after spending five seasons at Troy University. He was the Director of Basketball Operations for three seasons with the Trojans. He coordinated all team travel, managed all film operations, ordered team gear, and aided in film analysis and analytics. Before being named Director of Operations at Troy, Patterson served in different roles, including Video Coordinator, Graduate Assistant, and Student Manager, during his time as he continued to climb the coaching ladder. 

Patterson earned his bachelor’s degree from Troy in hospitality, sport and tourism management in 2018 and his master’s degree from Troy in sport and fitness management in 2020.
