A transfer forward who joined the Bulls in April of 2026 after a season at Louisiana...originally committed to South Florida and head coach Amir Abdur-Rahim before his tragic passing...played in 18 games and made 15 starts in his freshman season at Louisiana, scoring 8.1 ppg and grabbing 3.8 rpg...a consensus 4-star recruit out of Tampa’s Blake High School, where he helped lead the team – coached by his father Fred Lewis – to the Class 5A state title game...his father was a 1,000-point scorer for South Florida that helped lead the Bulls to two NCAA Tournament appearances and one NIT in a three-year span in the early 1990’s.
 
2025-26 (LOUISIANA): Saw action in 18 games and made 15 starts in his first collegiate season...averaged 8.1 points and 3.8 rebounds per game...shot 51.4 percent from the floor and 20-of-45 (44.4) from three...averaged 22.6 minutes per game...scored in double-digits in five games...had a season-best 26 points on 10-of-13 from the floor (2-4 from three) and added nine rebounds vs. ULM (1/8/26)...saw his last action on January 10 vs. Troy – posting five points and two rebounds in 24 minutes...scored 16 points on 8-of-14 from the floor and added five rebounds at Stanford (11/18/25)...made a season best three three-pointers (3-5) and had 11 points at UC Davis (11/24/25)...went 3-of-4 from three for 11 points vs. South Alabama (12/31)...had 12 points and five rebounds vs. Southern Mississippi (1/3).
 
HIGH SCHOOL: A consensus 4-star recruit out of Blake High School in Tampa, Lewis had a composite ranking of 0.9783 per 247 Sports... ranked the No. 64 player in the country per ESPN and the No. 17 small forward in the Class of 2025 ... ranked the 52nd best player in the Class of 2025 as per 247 Sports composite rankings....competed in the Iverson Classic 24K Showcase...averaged 15.7 ppg and 9.3 rpg for his high school career (MaXPreps), recording 1,590 points, 942 rebounds, 275 assists, 200 blocks and 125 steals... averaged 16.8 points, 8.5 rebounds, and 3.5 assists as a senior while shooting 55 percent from the field, 35 percent from three-point range, and 75 percent from the free throw line...had eight 20-point games, including 32 points vs. Duncanville...went 4-of-4 from three and had 22 points vs. Leto...as a junior he posted 16.9 ppg, 9.2 rpg and 2.3 apg helping lead Blake to a 26-6 record and the Class 5A state title game...as a sophomore averaged 13.9 ppg and 8.6 rpg...originally committed to South Florida and head coach Amir Abdur-Rahim before the coaches tragic passing...moved his commitment to Iowa, but ended up signing with Louisiana after Iowa coach Fran McCaffrey was dismissed... played for the Florida Rebels on the Nike EYBL Circuit where he averaged 10.8 points, 6.6 rebounds, 1.3 assists, and 1.2 blocks per game.
 
PERSONAL: The son of South Florida basketball 1,000-point scorer Fred Lewis (1,105 points -1989-92) who played three seasons for the Bulls after transferring from the University of Tampa and helped lead the team to three straight postseason appearances (1990 and 1992 NCAA, 1991 NIT), the longest string in program history, and a Sun Belt Conference Tournament title (1990)...Fred was a second-team All-Metro selection in 1992 (USF’s first year in the league) and is the head coach at Blake High School, where he coached Joshua during his prep career.
