Micah Banks serves as Brand Manager and Digital Media Coordinator at the University of South Florida, overseeing communications and digital strategy for USF men’s basketball, men’s soccer, and men's golf. He leads social media management, brand storytelling, and content creation for his teams while acting as a liaison between athletic programs and the university’s branding agency model.
Since joining USF in 2023, Banks has grown program visibility through innovative campaigns, including aiding the award-winning Lacrosse 101 video series, which earned over 1.1 million impressions and was recognized with the CSC ChangeMaker Innovation Award. His leadership in digital media has also contributed to women’s lacrosse being ranked among the nation’s top Division I social media programs.
Previously, Banks gained communications and media relations experience with the Los Angeles Rams, Tennessee Titans, and Tampa Bay Buccaneers, in addition to roles with the Venice Basketball League and George Washington University’s GWTV. A graduate of George Washington University with a degree in Journalism and Mass Communications, Banks brings expertise in social media strategy, media relations, and creative content production to the Bulls’ athletics department.
