2020: Proved once again to be one of the top defensive players in The American … Played and started in all 10 matches for USF, and didn't miss one second on the pitch, logging a team-high 927 minutes of match time … Was one of the key components for the Bulls on the backline, earning Second Team All-Conference honors … Brought an aggressive defensive style of play, winning challenges on the ground and in the air … Showed great passing range and distribution from the back, initiating attacks and breaking the opposition's pressure … Offensively, Mazzaferro recorded three points on one goal and an assist, both the first of his career … He posted his first career helper in a 2-1 win over No. 22 Tulsa (March 6), and then two matches later, at No. 17 SMU (March 20), he tallied his first career goal

2019: Helped to form one of the stingiest defenses in The American with their tough physical play ... Was one of the top defensive freshmen in the conference ... Helped to guide the back line that allowed only 1.26 goals per game on the year, which was tied for third in The American ... Also assisted in the Bulls posting five clean sheets on the season ... Named to the American Athletic Conference All-Rookie Team … Started in all 18 games … Made his first career start in debut against Maryland (Aug. 30) in his collegiate debut and season-opener … Recorded two shots … Played a team-high 1,637 minutes … Played 12-straight complete matches to start his career – including a career-high 110-minute effort against FIU (Oct. 22) – and 17 complete outings during his rookie season.
