2015-16 (Senior): ITA All-American for the second time...Named the American Player of the Year for the third time...Named ITA Southeast Region Senior of the Year...Earned the Most Outstanding Player at the conference tournament...reached the quarterfinals of the NCAA Singles Tournament...25-3 singles record … 5-0 conference … 18-6 doubles record … 4-0 conference … Defeated No. 1 player in the nation, Tulane’s Domink Koepfer (4/10/16) … Took down TCU’s Cameron Norrie, ranked No. 2 (3/5/14) … Earned win over Texas A&M’s Arthur Rinderknech, ranked at No. 5 (2/7/16) … Tallied win streaks of 5, 6, and 9 matches … 11-2 against ranked competition…won in doubles play during the first round of the NCAA tournament with partner Ignacio Gonzalez Munez, but fell in the second round.
2014-15 (Junior): Finished the year ranked No. 22 in singles…posted a 14-6 record at the No. 1 spot…was 6-6 against ranked opponents…qualified for the NCAA tournament in singles play for the second straight year…posted a 19-4 doubles record at the No. 1 and No. 3 spots with Ignacio Gonzalez-Muniz and Sasha Gozun…went on a 13-match win streak in doubles with Gonzalez-Muniz...picked up two singles wins in the AAC Tournament which USF won…named the ITA Southeast Region Player to Watch.
2013-2014 (Sophomore): ITA All-American, the first in USF men’s tennis history… Finished the year ranked No. 32 in the ITA Singles Poll…Reached quarterfinals of the NCAA Singles Championship which included defeating top-seeded Clay Thompson of UCLA…Went 3-1 in the NCAA Singles Championship…Posted a 10-5 record vs. ranked opponents…Finished the year 25-6 in singles action…In doubles, finished year ranked No. 38 with partner Sasha Gozun…Went 4-3 against ranked doubles teams…Posted a 17-5 overall record…Enrolled at USF for the Spring 2014.
Prep: Prior to arriving at USF, Cid reached as high as 900 in the ATP rankings as well as competing as a member of the Dominican Republic's Davis Cup Team.
