Biography

• One of three FBS players in the last 30 seasons to have at least 2,200 passing yards, 19 passing touchdowns and 700 rushing yards through nine team games of a campaign. The others are Oklahoma’s Jalen Hurts (2019) and Louisville’s Lamar Jackson (2016).
• Riding a 5-game string of posting 200+ pass yards, 80+ rush yards and 1 rushing TD in every game - it is THE LONGEST streak in FBS in the last 30 years, bettering Lamar Jackson (12/30/2015-9/17/2016) who posted four straight over two seasons, including his Heisman winning 2016 season.
• Vs. UTSA, became THE ONLY player in the last 30 years (FBS or NFL) to post 200 yards passing, 100 yards rushing and a 90 percent (14-15) completion percentage.
• The second FBS player in the last 30 years to have at least 15 passing touchdowns, 450 rushing yards and six rushing scores over a five-game span within a single season. The other is LSU’s Jayden Daniels in 2023, when he won the Heisman Trophy.
• One of three FBS players in the last 30 years to have at least 900 passing yards, 14 passing touchdowns and 350 rushing yards over a four-game span. The others are LSU’s Jayden Daniels (2023) and Houston’s D’Eriq King (2018).
• Posted a string of four straight games with three or more touchdown passes in 2025, the longest such streak in USF history. Only Baylor’s Sawyer Robertson (5 games, 8/29-9/27) has a longer streak on the year in FBS and is the only other player to post a four game streak.
