2020-21 (FRESHMAN): Played in seven games for USF, averaging four minutes per outing โฆ Scored a career-high three points against Tulsa (Feb. 13) on 1-for-1 shooting from the field and free-throw line โฆ Grabbed a career-best two rebounds, four times against Stetson (Dec. 13), Tulsa, at Houston (Feb. 27), and in the regular-season finale at UCF (March 4).
PREP CAREER: Is a 6-foot-2 post player who has her best basketball ahead of her โฆ During high school she developed into a solid rebounder and shot blocker, and is a good passer with a high motor in transition โฆ After being named to the South Florida Sun Sentinel Preseason Next Five prior to her senior campaign, Rodriguez averaged 8.8 points, 9.5 rebounds and 1.5 blocked shots per game as a senior at St. Thomas Aquinas (STA) High School in Ft. Lauderdale โฆ As a senior, she helped the Raiders to a 20-8 record โ and a No. 12 ranking among all FHSAA 6A schools โ while helping to guide STA to the regional semifinals before losing to eventual 6A state champion Blanche Ely (Pompano Beach, Fla.) โฆ As a junior she netted 8.0 points per contest, while shooting 57 percent from the floor, and grabbed 7.5 rebounds per outing as St. Thomas Aquinas advanced to the FHSAA 8A state championship game against Tampa Bay Tech โฆ Rodriguez was named All-Broward County honorable mention by the South Florida Sun Sentinel at the conclusion of the season
