USF Athletics

Timothy Syler first joined the USF staff in 2013. Sylver worked with the women’s basketball program as a student and upon graduation, head coach Jose Fernandez immediately hired the up-and-comer. After a season with USF men’s basketball team during the 2016-17, Sylver returns to the top-25 women’s program. 

Sylver came through the ranks of USF’s student manager program, earning a head student manager job while still in college. Before assisting at USF, Sylver was an assistant coach at Charlotte High from 2008 to 2010. 

Sylver attended Charlotte high school in Florida and graduated in 2008. Sylver resides in Wesley Chapel with his family Jenna Whitling and son Will.
