2022-23: Proved to be one of the premier post players in the nation during her senior campaign at South Florida … Was named the American Athletic Conference Co-Player of the Year, along with teammate Elena Tsineke, and was a unanimous First Team All-Conference selection … Was a four-time AAC Player of the Week and earned conference honor roll recognition two times … In addition, she was named Honorable Mention Women’s Basketball Coaches Association All-American … She finished her career in the Green and Gold with 1,546 points and 1,121 career rebounds between her time at South Florida and Memphis … Averaged 16.5 points and 12.3 rebounds per game while starting in all 34 games for the Bulls … Her points per game average was third in The American and her rebounding average was first in the conference and fifth in the nation … Offensively, she shot 58.6 percent (217-for-370), first in the league and 16
th in the nation … Her 418 total rebounds during the season were tops in the conference and fourth in the nation, while also becoming the AAC and South Florida’s single season record holder … Fankam Mendjiadeu recorded 24 double-doubles which was fourth in the nation … Scored double figures in 30 of the Bulls’ games and 20-plus points in nine games, and hauled down double-figure rebounds 26 times … Had one of the best games of her collegiate career in the first round of the San Diego Invitational against No. 3/4 Ohio State (Dec. 20) when she poured in a career-high 34 points and grabbed 17 rebounds on 11-for-15 (73.3 percent) from the field and 12-for-15 (80.0 percent) from the free-throw line … Also had 26 points, twice, against Florida A&M (Nov. 11) and LaSalle (Dec. 17), and 25 points two times against Jacksonville (Nov. 13) and at Tulsa (Jan. 25) … Had 22 points and 17 rebounds at Houston (Jan. 18) and 22 points and 16 rebounds against Marquette in the NCAA Tournament First Round (March 17) … Had a great three game stretch in the Gulf Coast Showcase in Ft. Myers, Fla. where she broke a nine-year tournament rebounding record, hauling down 49 boards in the three games ... Had a career-high 21 rebounds against Georgia Tech (Nov. 25) and followed that up with 11 against No. 22/23 Michigan (Nov. 26) and 17 against No. 23/RV Villanova (Nov. 27), respectively ... Also turned in impressive rebounding games against No. 8/10 NC State (Dec. 11) with 18 rebounds and 10 boards against No. 22/18 Texas (Dec. 2).
2021-22: Was one of the top centers in the American Athletic Conference in her first year with South Florida … Started the season as a preseason All-Conference selection and ended the campaign named to The American All-Conference Second Team … Played in all 33 games for the Bulls, getting the start in 21 while averaging 23.7 minutes per contest … Was third on the team in scoring, averaging 10.3 points per game and second in rebounding, grabbing 7.1 boards per contest, good enough for ninth in The American in both categories … Was also second on the roster in blocked shots (26) … Shot 46.9 percent (135-for-28) from the field on the year and 66.4 percent (71-for-107) from the free-throw line … Recorded seven double-doubles in the Green and Gold, and finished with 32 for her career in 83 career games (including at Memphis) … Netted double-figure points in 17 games and double-digit rebounds eight times … Tied her career-high with a 23-point performance at Tulane (Jan. 12) on a near perfect shooting night, going 9-for-11 from the field and 5-for-5 from the free-throw line … Fell one point shy of tying that career-best earlier in the season with a 22-point day at VCU (Dec. 12) on another impressive offensive outing, hitting 10-of-11 from the floor and 2-for-3 from the line … Fankam Mendjiadeu had 19 points twice, against High Point (Dec. 17) and at SMU (Jan. 26), and 18 points at East Carolina (Feb. 27) … Turned in 17-point outings, the first coming in a 71-62 win against No. 9/9 Oregon in the third place game of the inaugural Women’s Battle 4 Atlantis and against Tulsa (Jan. 19) … Tied her career-high in rebounds with 17 at ECU and fell just short of equaling it at Temple (Feb. 9) with 15 … Had multi-blocked shot performances eight times including a season high three, four times, against Oregon, at Tulane, Tulsa, and Tulane (Feb. 6) at home … Also recorded three steals, twice, against Alabama State (Nov. 11) and at Tulane. Â
2020-21: Played the last two seasons at American Athletic Conference foe Memphis and was a Second Team all-conference selection … Transferred to USF from Memphis with teammate Aerial Wilson … Finished the 2020-21 campaign seventh in The American in scoring (14.1 ppg) and second in rebounding (10.6 rpg), making her the only player in the conference to average a double-double, recording 10 on the season … In addition, she was second in The American in blocked shots, averaging 1.6 rejections per outing, and was third in the conference in field goal percentage, shooting 47.6 percent (107-for-225) … She scored 20-or-more points six times, including a career-high 23 points against Liberty (Dec. 6) on 9-for-15 (60.0 percent) shooting from the field and 5-for-6 (83.3 percent) from the free-throw line … Grabbed a career-high 17 rebounds to go along with 212 points against Saint Louis (Dec. 4) … Had 20 points and 14 rebounds against the Bulls (Dec. 16) in the lone meeting of the season between USF and Memphis … Shot 53.3 percent (8-for-15) from the field and 4-for-6 (66.7 percent) against the Green and Gold. 2019-20: Played in 31 games and was second on the team in scoring and first on the team in rebounding, averaging 12.2 points and 8.6 rebounds per game, respectively ... In addition, she was second in The American in double-doubles (15) and tops in the conference in double-doubles in league play (10) ... Fankam Mendjiadeu was also first on the team in blocked shots, averaging just under one rejection per contest … She poured in a then career-high 22 points, against Cincinnati (Jan. 8) on 10-13 (76.9 percent) for one of her two 20-point games on the year … She also netted 21 points, on a stellar offensive performance against UConn (Jan. 14), shooting 6-for-8 (75.0 percent) from the field and 9-for-10 (90.0 percent) from the free-throw line.

JUNIOR COLLEGE CAREER: Fankam Mendjiadeu is a former Second Team National Junior College Athletic Association All-American at Walters State Community College in Morristown, Tenn., and was tabbed the 10th best junior college player in the nation and a four-star recruit by All-Star Girls Report ... In addition, she was named to the 2019 NJCAA Academic All-American team ... Fankam Mendjiadeu helped lead the Senators to a 29-5 record and a 16-0 mark in the Tennessee Community College Athletic Association during the 2018-19 season and an appearance in the second round of the NJCAA National Tournament ... In her one season at Walters, she averaged 15.5 points, 8.8 rebounds, and 1.6 blocks per game, and 18.1 points and 9.5 rebounds per game in conference play ... For her efforts, she was named the TCCAA Women’s Co-Most Valuable Player and a First-Team All-TCCAA selection.
