Biography

A wing player who has proven that she also has the ability to play the two-guard and the point for the Bulls ... Has impressive strength and speed and can cover a lot of ground with tremendous range ... Her wing span for a guard is outstanding ... Being 5-11, Sheats creates match-up problems for the opposition both offensively and defensively ... Can put the ball in the basket both on the perimeter and in the paint ... Is probably the Bulls' best defender.

2005-06 (JUNIOR): Averaged 7.3 points per game and paced the Bulls in steals on the year with 56 (2.1 spg) ... Her steals per game average was also good enough for fifth in the BIG EAST  ... Was second on the team in field goal percentage hitting 44.4 percent (75-169) of her shots from the floor ... Shot 50 percent or better in 13 of the 27 games she played, and 60 percent or higher in eight of the 13 outings ... Played in 27 of 31 games and started in 24 ... Sat out four games - Robert Morris (11/27/05), No. 7/8 North Carolina (12/7/05), No. 11/13 DePaul (12/7/05), and No. 13/15 Michigan State (12/10/05) - with a torn lateral meniscus in her right knee suffered in the first 1:30 of the Bulls meeting with Maryland-Baltimore County (11/26/05) ... 2004-05 (SOPHOMORE): Continued to be one of the top defensive players in Conference USA and should be a force defensively in the BIG EAST ... Played in all 32 games while starting 31 ... Finished the year second in steals - behind former Bull Anedra Gilmore - with 61 (1.9 spg) ... Had four or more steals in five games and three or more in 10 outings ... Recorded a season-high five steals twice against Wagner (12/22/04) and Southern Miss (3/3/05) in the Conference USA Tournament first round ... 2003-04 (FRESHMAN): Proved from the mid-point of the season on to be a tremendous contributor for the Bulls ... Played in 28 games and started in 19, including the last 17 straight ... Finished the season fourth on the team in scoring, averaging 6.4 points per game and an impressive 10.1 points per outing in Conference USA games ... Averaged just 3.1 points per game in her first 13 games of the season and tallied 9.3 points per contest in her last 15 outings ... Led the Bulls in shooting at 51.4 percent (75-146) on the year ... Was fifth in field goal percentage in C-USA games, netting 53.2 percent (59-111) of her shots ... Shot 65% (39-60) from the field in the six games that she tallied double figures on the year ... Was third on the team in steals during the year with 39 and was fourth in assists, handing out 38 ... Scored a career-high 21 points on a blistering 66.7 percent (10-15) from the field against Saint Louis (1/23/04) ... Had what was possibly the most productive game of her young collegiate career with 16 points, six rebounds, and career-highs in steals (7) and assists (5) in a win over UAB (2/15/04) ... Scored 15 points and recorded five rebounds, and three steals in her second C-USA game, a loss to East Carolina (1/11/04) ... Had 13 points in a loss to Memphis (1/25/04) and a win over No. 18 TCU (2/2/04), and 10 points in a loss to No. 17 DePaul (1/18/04).

HIGH SCHOOL: One of the most decorated players to come to USF of late ... Was ranked in the top 100 players coming out of high school, nationally, by the All-Star Girls Report ... Averaged 20 points, four rebounds and four assists per game as a senior ... Was named to the Atlanta Tip Off Club (ATC)/Atlanta Journal Constitution (AJC) All-Metro Prep team at the conclusion of her senior year ... Was also tabbed a second team All-5A and second team All-State selection by the AJC ... Tallied 16 points, four steals and four assists during her junior year ... Her many honors during that season included 5A All-State first team, first team All-Cobb County and the Metro Atlanta Prep Team Player of the Year ... Was also tabbed an honorable mention All-America by Street & Smith Magazine.
