In 2007 Chris Hinkle will serve as the Director of Operations with the USF women's soccer team.
Hinkle, a social studies teacher at Freedom High School, is in his second year coaching the girls soccer team at FHS. In his first season, his squad posted a 11-1-1 regular season record.
Along with his FHS duties, Hinkle is also the head coach of the girls U16 Blackwatch Soccer Club team in Tampa, the team he was an assistant for last season.
A graduate of Florida State University, Hinkle earned his bachelor’s degree in social science education and obtained a license as a strength and conditioning trainer through the American Council on Exercise. While in college, Hinkle worked as a trainer at FSU’s Leach Center Gym for nearly two years.
Prior to attending college, Hinkle was a coach in the Zephyrhills Youth Soccer League for three years.
Hinkle holds a USSF National D license and is currently working toward his National C.
Hinkle and his wife, Rachel, who is a graduate student at USF, reside in Tampa.
