Returns for his sixth season, fourth at USF, having posted 166 tackles, 16.5 tackles for loss and 5.5 sacks in three seasons with the Bulls...has started 23 games in the last two seasons, missing three with injury, and led the Bulls in tackles in 2023 (97) while finishing third in 2024 (61).

2024: Second Team All-AAC (CFN)...started all 10 games he played in during the season, missing three games due to injury...finished third on the team with 61 total tackles, 34 solo…added 7.0 tackles for loss, 3.5 sacks (second on the team), two interceptions, three forced fumbles, four quarterback hurries and a pass break-up … led the team in tackles in four games...had an interception in the season-opener vs. B-CU (8/31) that he returned 29 yards but suffered an injury on the tackle on the return that caused him to miss the next three games...returned to full form vs. Memphis (10/12) posting a team-leading 10 tackles...had five tackles, an interception (returned 26 yards), pass break-up, two quarterback hurries and 0.5 tackles for loss vs. UAB (10/19)...posted nine tackles, 1.5 sacks and two quarterback hurries at FAU (11/1)...had nine tackles, 2.0 tackles for loss, a sack and forced fumble vs. Navy (11/9)...forced another fumble and had a sack and five tackles at Charlotte (11/16)...matched his career high to lead USF with 12 tackles (seven solo) in the Hawaii Bowl victory vs. San Jose St.

2023: Named All-AAC Fourth-Team by Phil Steele and Honorable Mention by AAC coaches...Shuler and Daquan Evans were the only Bull defenders to start all 13 games...finished season leading team in tackles with 97 (45 solo), had 8.5 TFL, two sacks, five pass break-ups, three quarterback hurries, and one forced fumble...recorded a career-best 12 tackles and added 1.5 TFL a pass break-up and a quarterback hurry in USF's Boca Raton Bowl win over Syracuse (12/21) in which the Bulls allowed just 20 yards rushing and 159 total yards and posted the largest bowl shutout (45-0) in NCAA bowl game history...recorded a then career-best 11 tackles vs. #13 Alabama (9/16)…recorded 10 tackles (eight solo, career-high) at UAB (10/7) and recorded one sack while forcing an intentional grounding penalty in the second quarter…recorded a team-best eight stops and a sack at UCONN (10/21)...led the defense with a total of nine tackles (six solo) vs. Temple (11/11)…tallied eight tackles (four solo) and two TFL at UTSA (11/17)...co-led the defense with nine tackles vs. Charlotte (11/25)...finished Boca Raton Bowl game vs. Syracuse (12/21) with 12 tackles (three solo).

2022: Saw action in 10 games…made eight tackles on the year…posted a season-best three tackles and one TFL against Howard (9/10)…had two tackles at Louisville (9/24)…posted two tackles vs. UCF (11/26).

2020 & 2021 (COFFEYVILLE CC): Posted 88 tackles, 11 tackles for loss, one sack and two Iinterception in two seasons at Coffeyville Community College.

ABBEVILLE HS: Named first-team Class 2A All-State in 2019…helped Abbeville to three Class 2A state championships in his first three seasons. Abbeville had won a state title in the season before Shuler’s arrival and became just the fourth team in South Carolina history to win four straight state titles…all told, Shuler’s Abbeville teams had a four-year record of 55-2-1. Shuler’s final Abbeville team lost 32-28 to Saluda in the state playoffs, ending Abbeville’s 35-game winning streak…played in the 2019 Shrine Bowl, the annual game between high-school players from South Carolina and North Carolina…Abbeville is 45 miles south of Greenville, S.C.…rated a three-star recruit by 247Sports…out of high school, had offers from Coastal Carolina, East Carolina, Southern Miss and UConn, but initially opted for junior college.
