Bryair (Bree) Alston enters 5th year at the University of South Florida, and her second year as an Associate Athletic Trainer. Her primary sport responsibility is the USF Football Program and assist with day-to-day operations of primary care physician and athlete appointments alongside the Clinic Manager. At USF, Bree assists with the day to day operations of the football athletic medicine. She conducts rehabilitation with athletes, coordinates appointment scheduling, and oversees football inventory. She also serves as the Director of the Athletic Training Fellowship Mentorship program. This involves development, enrichment and matriculation of all of the department’s Athletic Training fellows.

Alston returned to USF after a year with Appalachian State University Football, Women’s Volleyball, and Women’s Tennis programs. In her time at App State, Bree had an immense impact on the program’s sports medicine care. While with ASU Football, she coordinated injury management with customized design and implementation of non-surgical and post-operative rehabilitative programs utilizing Hydroworx and Blood Flow Restriction when indicated. She coordinated communication between the local health department and isolated and quarantined athletes, facilitated COVID-19 testing protocols amongst her three sport assignments, and administered rapid COVID-19 antigen tests. Bree also instituted flexibility, mobility, and personalized arm care programs for the Women’s Volleyball program.

Alston’s career began as a Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer here at USF from 2018 
to 2020. In this role she held sports assignments with the USF Football and Men’s and Women’s Track & Field/Cross Country programs. She assisted in the coordination of medical coverage of operations for all home and away Football, Cross Country, and Track & Field events. Alston also coordinated and oversaw physician’s clinics, provided referrals/scheduling for physician appointments and diagnostic imaging, and assisted in pre-participation physical examinations. She served as a preceptor for the USF and Gannon University Athletic Training Programs. Bree graduated with her Masters of Science in Advanced Athletic Training in 2020.
 
Prior to her roles at USF and ASU, Alston earned her Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training from the University of Miami. While an athletic training student, Bree did not shy away from diverse clinical experiences. Her clinical rotations included Miami Football, Men’s and Women’s Basketball, Baseball, Women’s Soccer, Men’s Tennis, Volleyball, and Spirit. She was awarded the CARE Award by the University of Miami Athletic Training program for her exceptional care and consideration of athletes.
 
Bree is a BOC Certified Athletic Trainer and a Licensed Athletic Trainer in the state of Florida
. She holds additional certifications in CPR/AED technique, IV Therapy, and Dry Needling. She is involved in several Athletic Training organizations such as the National Athletic Trainers’ Association, Eastern Athletic Trainers’ Association, Southeast Athletic Trainers’ Association, and North Carolina Athletic Trainers’ Association to list a few.
 
Bryair Alston is the daughter of Tyrone and Rashida Alston. She is from Dover, New Jersey and enjoys
