During his high school years in Ghana, Dasor won four consecutive national championships, setting the stage for a standout career at Western Kentucky University (WKU) from 2013 to 2017. Competing under head coach Erik Jenkins, he became a four-time conference champion and a nine-time All-American. Known for his speed and versatility, Dasor broke five school records at WKU, including in the indoor 400 meters and the 4x400 meter relay. He was named Conference USA Track and Field Athlete of the Week 12 times, underscoring his dominance in the sport.
Internationally, Dasor represented Ghana at the 2016 Olympics, where he also earned silver and bronze medals in the All-African Games in the 4x100 and 4x400 meter relays. His achievements on the global stage highlight his commitment and excellence in sprinting and relay events.
After graduating from WKU in 2017 with a degree in Organizational Leadership and a minor in Business Administration, Dasor transitioned into coaching. In 2022, as a strength and conditioning and sprints/relays coach at Prairie View A&M University, he played a key role in securing the program’s first-ever men’s and women’s indoor and outdoor championships. In 2024, he joined USF’s Track and Field coaching staff, where his guidance contributed to the team’s first indoor and outdoor conference championships in 20 years.
Now pursuing a master’s degree in Cybersecurity Intelligence and Information Security at USF, Dasor continues to serve as a Volunteer Assistant Coach, bringing his expertise and dedication to developing the next generation of sprinters and relay athletes at USF.
