Tyson Brown

Tyson Brown joined the USF Strength and Conditioning staff in January of 2013. Brown serves as an associate strength and conditioning coach, assisting with football, and directing the strength and conditioning program for volleyball. He came to USF after serving three seasons as an assistant strength and conditioning coach with the Washington Huskies, where he was the coordinator for baseball and men's crew and assisted with football.

Brown also gained experience as an intern for the Houston Texans of the National Football League from 2010 to 2011. From 2009-2010, he was a graduate assistant athletic performance coach for Baylor University, assisting with football, track and field, softball and tennis. His career started as an intern at the University of Washington, where he worked with football in the summer of 2009.

Brown is certified by the National Strength and Conditioning Association (CSCS) and United States Weightlifting (USA-W). He is also certified in the Functional Movement Screening (FMS). He graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Science from the University of Sioux Falls where he played Linebacker on 2 NAIA National Championship teams. He also earned a Master's Degree from California University of Pennsylvania in Exercise Science.

Brown and his wife Kinzie reside in Wesley Chapel with their son Brody.
