Bulls Lose Tight Match with Louisville, 1-0

Louisville, K.Y. (October 14, 2005) ? The USF women's soccer team (5-6-3, 0-5-3 BIG EAST) lost a close match against conference foe Louisville (10-5-0, 5-3-0 BIG EAST), 1-0, in front of 465 people in Louisville, K.Y.
The Bulls, in the middle of a four-match road trip couldn't break through Louisville's tough defense, in what turned out to be a close one-score match.
The only goal of the contest was scored early in the first half when the Cardinals Jaime Craft beat USF goalkeeper Casey Garrett one-on-one to place the ball in the lower right corner of the goal. She was assisted by Laura Walker.
The Bulls were outshot in both stanzas with Louisville having 22 shots to USF's two. The Bulls only shots game off the feet of senior Michelle Buskey and sophomore Jeannette Dyer.
Goalie Garrett had five saves on six attempts.
The Bulls continue conference play when they finish up their four-match road trip when they travel to Cinicnnatti to play the Bearcats on Sunday, October 16. Game time is 1 p.m.
