LOUISVILLE, Ky. (April 23, 2007) ? Senior Kevin Tilbury continues to lead the University of South Florida through the conference tournament, carding a 72-77 over two days to tie for 19th at the 2007 BIG EAST Golf Championships held at the Cardinal Club in Louisville, Ky.
As a team, the Bulls dropped to 10th place after carding a second-round 314, added to their 296 on the first day.
Tournament host Louisville leads the event with a two-day 562, followed by Notre Dame's 578 and Marquette in third with a 584. USF's 10th-place total is a 34-over-par 610.
The Cardinals from the state of Kentucky have a trio of individuals in the top three spots, as Daryl Fathauer leads the event and Adam Hadwin and Adam Rainaud are tied with Notre Dame's Adam Gifford for second.
USF senior Justin Fetcho edges freshman Raj Nahal by one stroke as Fetcho produced a 76-77 ? 153 and Nahal has carded a 75-79 ? 154.
Juniors Jason Elliott and Tyler Hitchcock round out the top five for the Bulls, recording 156 and 157, respectively.
The Bulls conclude play at the 2007 BIG EAST Men's Golf Championships on Tuesday morning, with tee times beginning at 8 a.m.
