TAMPA ? The University of South Florida athletics department announced today that single-game tickets for the nine-game home BIG EAST schedule are now on sale.
Fans can purchase single-game tickets online at Ticketmaster.com or via Ticketmaster phone at 813-287-8844. Pricing for single-game tickets are $10, $20 and $25.
A special “Big Five” mini-plan for the BIG EAST portion of the men's basketball season is also available. Fans can choose any five BIG EAST Conference games that they wish to attend with tickets starting as low as $50. To purchase the “Big Five” min-plan or for more information call 1-800-GoBulls. The complete men's basketball schedule is available at GoUSFBulls.com.
The BIG EAST portion of the schedule consists of nine games, beginning with a pair of nationally televised home games vs. Syracuse and Louisville, respectively. USF hosts the Orange on ESPN on Friday, Jan. 2, at 8:30 p.m., followed by the Cardinals visiting Tampa for an ESPN2 game on Wednesday, Jan. 7, at 7 p.m.
The remaining home BIG EAST slate also includes NCAA Tournament teams in Villanova (Jan. 24), Marquette (Feb. 6), Georgetown (Feb. 18), and West Virginia (March 1), along with DePaul (Jan. 20), Providence (Feb. 10) and Cincinnati (March 3).
USF has one non-conference home game remaining before conference play kicks off when the Bulls take on Iona on Saturday, Dec. 27, at 7 p.m.
In addition to the game action, three of the home BIG EAST games will include exciting halftime acts. Coming to the Sun Dome are the Bounce, The Bucket Boys and The Red Pando Acrobat.
Bounce, who will be at the Jan. 2 Syracuse game, combines world class juggling talent with exceptional gymnastic ability tossing and spinning numerous objects into the air while simultaneously flipping and catching each other.
The Bucket Boys will be in town for the Jan. 20 DePaul game and are a talented group of teens from Chicago's South Side who perform synchronized drumming routines on plastic buckets. They have performed at numerous Chicago Bulls games and the 2004 NBA All-Star game.
The Red Panda Acrobat returns this season for the Feb. 18 Georgetown game. The Red Panda Act is an unbelievable show and was voted the No. 1 halftime act of the year in 2004. Krystal Niu and her unicycle bowl flipping act is a must see. She rides a seven-foot unicycle, kicks several bowls in the air and lands them in an ever-growing and wobbly stack of bowls on her head.
Additional promotions and entertainment will be added for each game.
