Jenkins Drafted by Cowboys | Jenkins Media Recap  | Williams Goes to Jaguars

TAMPA -- Former Bulls Amarri Jackson, Walter Walker and Jared Carnes were invited to attend the Tampa Bay Buccaneers Rookie Camp Friday-Sunday.

None of the three have signed a undrafted free agent contract, but the trio will have the opportunity to impress the hometown NFL team.  Attendees to camp will include the Bucs' entire 2008 draft class, plus any undrafted players that have already signed a deal.

The Bulls had two players - cornerbacks Mike Jenkins and Trae WIlliams - go in the 2008 NFL Draft.

Jenkins made USF history by being the USF first ever first round pick.  The Dallas Cowboys selected him with the 25th pick in the draft.  He joins a stout defense for the defending NFC East Division Champions that includes defensive backs Terrence Newman, Anthony Henry, Roy Williams and the recently signed Adam "Pacman" Jones. 

Trae Williams was picked up by the Jacksonville Jaguars with the 24th pick in the fifth round.  He joins a defensive-minded squad that is led by head coach Jack Del Rio. The Jaguars are high on Williams, writing on their website that he may be the, "steal of the draft."  Williams had as many interceptions - 13 - as any player in the NCAA FBS the last two seasons and capitalized with three touchdown returns last season.

Former Bulls linebacker Ben Moffitt was quickly scooped up by the Houston Texans after going undrafted. He signed an undrafted free agent contract with the AFC South squad and will attend the club's first rookie camp this weekend.
