
Top 10's Aplenty for M T&F at GT

ATLANTA, Ga. - - Six members of the University of South Florida men's track and field team came away from the Georgia Tech Invitational with top-10 finishes after the two-day event in Atlanta.
Conference champion hurdler Glenn Fowler did not compete in his best event, the 400-meter hurdles, but did run extremely well in the 110-meter hurdles where he placed second with a time of 14.24 in the finals.
Fellow BIG EAST Champion Sean Young added another runner-up finish for the Bulls in the pole vault where he cleared an impressive height of 5.20m (17'0.75”).
Throws specialist Tyler Perkins came in third during the discus throw after a 51.74m (169'9”) mark. Perkins is one of several Bulls that will be competing in the upcoming regional meet.
Mikese Morse, fresh off a conference championship in the long jump, took fifth in the same event at the Invitational by leaping 7.30m (23'11.5”).
A pair of other Bulls brought home top-10 placements at the meet including Jordan Seabrook's seventh-place 110-meters time of 14.64 and Errol Blackmon ?s ninth-place showing in the high jump after flying over the 2.05m (6'8.75”) bar.
The Bulls now have their sights set directly on the NCAA Regionals on May 30-31 in Tallahassee, Fla.
