Up Next: The Bulls begin a two game road trip when they travel to Louisville to play the No. 12/9 Cardinals Wednesday, Jan. 28 at 7 p.m. USF lost to Louisville in their first meeting earlier this season, 71-57, at home on Jan. 7. ? After Louisville, the Bulls travel to Queens, N.Y. to take on the St. John's Red Storm on Sunday, Feb. 1, at 2 p.m. That game can be seen on ESPNU.
? USF's second leading scorer, senior guard Jesus Verdejo, returned from a concussion and mouth injury to score 13 points with four rebounds.
? The Bulls had four scorers with double-digit points including Augustus Gilchrist, Chris Howard, Jesus Verdejo and Dominique Jones. The Bulls also had four scorers in double-digits against Virginia on 11/19/08.
? USF's leading scorer Dominique Jones fouled out of the game with 5:48 remaining in the game. He finished with 11 points, two boards and three assists. Jones had played in 159 of the last 160 minutes entering the game against Villanova.
? Augustus Gilchrist has scored in double-figures in five of his last six games, and seven times in 13 games since joining the team in December.
? The Bulls held Villanova's second leading scorer, Scottie Reynolds to just seven points. Reynolds was averaging 15.2 points coming into the game against USF.
? Freshman forward Augustus Gilchrist tallied 17 points and 7 rebounds for his second straight game with at least 16 points and 7 rebounds.
? Junior guard Chris Howard tallied 15 points, which is a season high. Howard had 14 points against High Point on 11/25/08.
? With his 11 points, Jones now has 880 career points, which is 26th on the all-time USF scoring list. He is one point behind Chonsey Asbury's 881 points for 25th all-time.
