Bulls Fans Gain Access to Live In-Stadium Broadcasts

TAMPA - The University of South Florida ISP Sports Network and Live Sports Radio (LSR) are pleased to announce an exciting new product to enhance our fan's football game-day experience. Starting this season, all USF football game-day broadcasts (both home and away games) will be offered to fans with NO DELAY while at the stadium.

"Our entire radio crew is excited about the addition of Live Sports Radio for 2009," said Jim Louk, Assistant AD for Sales and Broadcasting and Bulls play by play broadcaster. "It's going to be great to communicate directly with Bulls fans at the stadium both at home and on the road".

These radios will allow fans to listen to the USF Sports Network broadcast of Jim Louk and Mark Robinson while attending any home or away game.  You can purchase them through www.livesportsradio.com for $20 (plus S&H), with a pre-season special (Buy 2 Get 1 Free), which is available online only, through August 31st, 2009 (coupon code 3698766).

The radios are good for the entire season.  This is no subscription fee or any other ongoing cost - this Bulls radio is yours to keep.  It can also be used during all home basketball games.

After the game, the LSR receivers can be changed over to an FM radio to use during the rest of the week. The next game, fans change back the radio to the special event channel to allow them to listen to the live play by play.   Fans wearing the over-the-ear LSR receivers hear the play by play in high quality audio, real time. The radio receiver even features a team logo.

The radio receiver helps eliminate the three biggest challenges for listeners at the game: poor reception, the time delay found in over the air broadcasts and the ability to listen to your home broadcast team while at EVERY game whether home or away.

USF is one of the first schools nationwide to provide fans with access to a live play-by-play feed in the stadium during both home and away football games. That coverage will include likely post-regular season games such as a Bowl game.  Live Sports Radio has been selected as the exclusive supplier of special event radio receivers that "pick up" the broadcast with no delay while at the stadium.

The LSR receiver is pre-programmed to receive all games during the 2009-10 season in the stadium in which each game is played.  Purchasers pay a one-time fee for each receiver.  While the device is programmed to receive only the current season's football games on its event programming channels, it will continue to operate as an FM scan radio on an ongoing basis. Each season a new radio will be available as the FCC-licensed frequencies that are used for the broadcast will change depending upon the team's schedule.
