What is the Varsity Club? The mission of the Varsity Club is to encourage past USF athletics members to be lifelong members of the USF Athletics family and to strengthen the bond between them, the University, and the department of intercollegiate athletics. The Bulls Varsity Club will strive to provide its members with the opportunity to foster and maintain relationships across different sports and generations thus promoting the interest and mission of the University of South Florida.

Photo Name: Men's Basketball vs UConn 1973 The first-ever meeting between USF and UConn occurred Jan. 11, 1973, as the Huskies came down to Tampa and handed the Bulls an 84-67 loss. The Huskies remain one of two teams in the BIG EAST the Bulls have never beaten in their history, with a March 6 meeting in Tampa giving USF the opportunity to end UConn's seven-game streak in the series.
