What is the Varsity Club? The mission of the Varsity Club is to encourage past USF athletics members to be lifelong members of the USF Athletics family and to strengthen the bond between them, the University, and the department of intercollegiate athletics. The Bulls Varsity Club will strive to provide its members with the opportunity to foster and maintain relationships across different sports and generations thus promoting the interest and mission of the University of South Florida.

Photo Name: Chad Barnhardt The USF football program's first quarterback, Chad Barnhardt was the starting quarterback for the Bulls during the 1997 and '98 seasons. Barnhardt compiled a 12-9 record during those years, and was the man under center for USF's very first game on Sept. 6, 1997 against Kentucky Wesleyan. Barnhardt would go on to finish his career with 4,138 passing yards with 27 touchdowns.
