USF softball coach Ken Eriksen was there with Team USA in 2004 in Athens when the Americans took home the gold medal in softball in the Summer Olympics. An assistant coach with the team, Eriksen led the Bulls to their best record ever in the Spring of 2004 with a 60-14 slate before switching over to his duties with the Red, White and Blue, as the Americans dominated opponents, outscoring them 51-1 to win their third-straight gold medal.
