The mission of the Varsity Club is to encourage past USF athletics members to be lifelong members of the USF Athletics family and to strengthen the bond between them, the University, and the department of intercollegiate athletics. The Bulls Varsity Club will strive to provide its members with the opportunity to foster and maintain relationships across different sports and generations thus promoting the interest and mission of the University of South Florida. Photo Name: 1979 Swim Team The 1979 women's swim team was one of those forerunners to the 1984 team that won the NCAA D-II Championship. Back then, USF piled up NCAA All-Americans like they were going out of style. The list goes on and on, thanks to one of the strongest programs USF athletics has ever had during the 45 or so years the Bulls have been competing at the collegiate level.
