Photo Name: 1965 Tennis Team Another one of USF's teams that started play when the athletics department was born was the men's tennis team. Back in 1965, Spafford Taylor began to lead the Bulls into intercollegiate athletics as the man in charge of the tennis program. Unlike yesterday's picture with the cross country team, the tennis team did not have to practice wherever it could find a spot, as the Bulls were fortunate enough to have the facilities in place for them to be successful.
