Photo Name: Major Leaguer Ross Gload
With this week's MLB Draft, we decided to revisit an old friend. Ross Gload, soon to be inducted into the 2010 USF Athletics Hall of Fame, is one of USF's most famous Major League Baseball players. He was a Freshman All-American and then a two-time All-American during his career with the Bulls in the mid-90s and holds the USF record for career RBI, home runs and extra-base hits. Ross' MLB career took him to several stops, including Kansas City (above) in 2007 and '08. After spending 2009 with the Florida Marlins, Gload now finds himself in Philadelphia with the Phillies organization.
