The mission of the Varsity Club is to encourage past USF athletics members to be lifelong members of the USF Athletics family and to strengthen the bond between them, the University, and the department of intercollegiate athletics. For what reason, we're not sure, but if there's one thing you can count on with Rocky, it's his enthusiasm and spirit for USF Athletics. Rocky may have been celebrating a basketball victory from the early to mid-80s, or he may have just been celebrating the opening of the Sun Dome, which saw its first game in November 1980 despite the fact work was still going on.
