Sanchez Earns Northwestern Mutual Academic Honor

The University of South Florida has teamed up with Northwestern Mutual Teague Financial Group to spotlight the top Bulls in the classroom with the Northwestern Mutual Academic Student-Athlete of the Month award. Sophomore linebacker Armando Sanchez has a reputation as one of the hardest working players on the USF football team and his work ethic extends into the classroom and community. An Academic All-BIG EAST selection in both 2009 and 2010, Sanchez posted a perfect 4.0 GPA during the most recent semester as a communications major. He's also spent time volunteering with the Florida Wildlife Commission and Mildred Helms Elementary School. Each month, the USF Academic Enrichment Center staff will choose a Bull as the Northwestern Mutual Student-Academic Athlete of the Month. Factors in the selection for this honor will be classroom success, GPA and overall academic status. |
