
Around the Track with Christine Poole-Trice

TAMPA --- Christine Poole-Trice is a freshman sprinter from Columbus, Ga. and attended Godby High School, where she earned varsity letters in swimming, softball, cross country and track and field.
Poole-Trice set her collegiate personal-best time in the 200 meter dash at the Sykes-Sabock Challenge Cup (2/5) with a time of 25.25. Also at the meet, she set a PR in the 400 meter dash, clocking a 57.21 time.
This is the second part of an ongoing series called "Around the Track", where GoUSFBulls.com sits down with members of the track and field team to find out a little more about them.
Q: What are your favorite TV shows?
A: Grey's Anatomy and Glee
Q: What music is on your iPod?
A: Country, Christian and Pop music
Q: What is your favorite book?
A: I love the novel Born Blue by Han Nolan
Q: Where is your favorite vacation spot?
A: An anomalistic spot where I feel at ease and peaceful
Q: What is your favorite food?
A: I love Italian and Mexican food
Q: What is your favorite spot on campus?
A: I love the spots that have fountains and the MLK plaza. Honestly, I love this campus and pretty much everywhere is beautiful to me
Q: What is the craziest thing you've ever done?
A: I wrote Bulls Track and Field in the Nike store in the Mall of America. Oh, and I've also jumped into a pool in 35-degree weather head first while it was raining
Q: What was your favorite activity as a child?
A: Playing house, kickball and anything that had to do with beating my brothers at running
Q: Who has had the biggest influence on your athletic career?
A: Well Jesus of course. He is number one, but underneath Him would have to be my coaches
Q: What is your favorite holiday?
A: I love Christmas and Thanksgiving because it's a time for family to get together and enjoy the presence of each other
Q: What would your dream job would be?
A: I would love to be a nurse. I love helping people and to be specific, I love helping old people. They are so cute! So I can't wait to be the owner of an old folks nursing home
Q: Who is the celebrity you'd most like to meet?
A: The Glee cast and hopefully one day, I'll get to remix a song with them
