It was yet another strong pitching outing for the Bulls to help them improve to 11-6 on the season in their 2-1 win against Yale Monday night at the USF Baseball Stadium.
Matt Reed got the start and went 6 and 2/3 innings, allowing just one run to score on five hits with three strikeouts.
Right-hander Austin Adams came in to relieve Reed and pitched 2 and 1/3 innings, without giving up a single hit along with three strikeouts.
"He's got electric stuff right there and he did a great job. I'm happy for him; things are starting to come around for him," said head coach Lelo Prado.
This is Adams' seventh appearance in 2012 and he has yet to give up a run.
"Every time he comes out he's been great. He's been doing all the right things, on and off the field," Prado said.
The Bulls came out offensively in the fourth inning. With bases loaded and one out, first baseman Matt Hart had a fly ball to right field and James Ramsey was able to score.
In the same inning, Daniel Rockhold stole third and later scored on a balk by Yale's pitcher Nolan Becker. Rockhold continues his streak, reaching base in all 17 games.
Yale was able to add one in the top of the seventh, but Adams was able to come in and end the inning without anymore runs scoring.
The Bulls will face Illinois state at home on Wednesday at 7 p.m.
