By TOM ZEBOLD USF Senior Writer TAMPA - A red-hot Andrea Smith scored a career-high 35 points, but the Bulls didn't have enough firepower to break into the Big East win column Saturday night. Anna Martin matched Smith's 35 points, Brittany Hrynko added 22 more and DePaul extended its home winning streak to nine with a 91-75 win over USF at McGrath-Phillips Arena. The Blue Demons (13-4, 2-1) have won seven of their past eight games and got 13 points and 12 rebounds from Katherine Harry against USF. The Bulls (11-4, 0-2) got plenty of scoring from Smith, who also grabbed 10 rebounds a game after going for 33 points and 11 rebounds against No. 2 Notre Dame. Andrea Smith posted 17 points, Inga Orekhova added 13 points and Alisia Jenkins recorded 10 rebounds in USF's second straight loss. Martin's 20 points in the first half helped DePaul grab a 43-26 lead and the Blue Demons stayed well ahead by shooting 45 percent from the field. Martin and Hrynko combined for seven of DePaul eight 3-pointers. USF looks to bounce back in the Big East 7 p.m. Tuesday when Cincinnati visits the Sun Dome.
