By SEAN BAROWS GoUSFBulls.com CLEARWATER – Sam Greiner pitched a complete game shutout to lead the Bulls (14-10) over Wagner for their eighth straight victory. In the 5-0 win Greiner only allowed four base runners and three hits to pick up her second win of the year. USF also kept their hot hitting going with another five runs and seven hits. The Bulls have now scored 41 runs during their current eight game winning streak. Kaitlyn Santo got the scoring started when she stepped to the plate with the bases loaded in the second inning and laced a ball into right field for a three-run double. It was Santo's first hit of the season in only her second at-bat. The Bulls tacked on two more in the third inning with a bases loaded sacrifice fly by Lee Ann Spivey and a RBI single for Morgan Litchfield. USF cruised from there and head coach Ken Eriksen was able to get a lot of backups in the game for some valuable playing time as 16 players entered the game at some point for the Bulls. USF finishes the Under Armour Showcase Tournament with a perfect 4-0 record and will be off until a double header on Tuesday night at the USF Softball Stadium, taking on Quinnipiac at 5 p.m. and Maine directly after.
