All three sets the Bulls won had one thing in common. A quick lead.
USF led 4-0 in the first set before Memphis (11-7, 2-3) took a 13-11 lead. The set was tied 20-20 when the Bulls scored five of the next seven points including an ace by Clara Payne wrap-up the first set 25-22.

USF dominated the final two sets. The Bulls jumped out to an 8-1 lead in the third set and an 8-3 lead in the fourth. Other than a 1-1 tie in the third, USF held a lead in the entire third and fourth sets.
It was USF's first win at Memphis since Nov. 2, 2001, breaking a string of five-straight losses.
